Iraqi Cultural Attache – UK: LoU-IPSS Conference in Scotland on 3/12/2012
The Iraqi Cultural Attaché held its 4th conference for collaboration with UK Universities in Scotland, which took place in University of Glasgow on 3 December 2012. Nine reputable UK universities in Scotland attended the conference:

1. Glasgow University (Host)

2. Edinburgh University

3. Dundee University

4. Aberdeen University

5. Glasgow Caledonian University

6. Heriot-Watt University

7. St. Andrews University

8. Stirling University

9. Strathclyde University

The conference was dedicated to discuss the progress of the IPSS project, which includes 4,000 PhD scholarships fully funded by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR). The conference was also dedicated to discuss the anticipated Letter of Understanding that crowns the efforts made between the ICA and the UK/Irish universities on the IPSS project since May 2012. The Letter of Understanding for the Iraqi PhD Scholarship Scheme (LoU-IPSS) is to be signed between the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in London (ICA) and reputable universities in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
